3 Reasons you can be more FERTILE with HIGH FSH
Being told that you have high FSH, especially when you’re trying to get pregnant and have a healthy baby, can be super scary. So I’m so happy that you’re here because I’ve helped thousands of women with high FSH figure out the root cause of why they’re having that high of an FSH and more importantly, become moms. And yes, you heard that right. I said find the root cause of why their FSH is high, because FSH being high is just a symptom, it’s not the actual problem. And finding out why it’s high is so important. I mean, we need to do the testing first to figure out that it is high, so that’s the first and most important thing. But after that, determining what is causing that is essential to getting the results that you’re looking for.
I want you all to also recognize that when something is off like high FSH, this is your body talking to you, it’s telling you what is going on so that you can start to make changes so that you can get pregnant. And I know it might sound strange to think of this as a positive thing, but if you didn’t know that your FSH was high, you would just go on doing the same thing over and over and you would not be able to get pregnant. So now you have an opportunity to make change, which is why I think finding out that your FSH is high is a positive thing in your favor, and in the end only can help you make this better and become more fertile.
So after 20 years of working with women to improve their fertility, I’ve learned that high FSH can be lowered naturally, and that’s exactly what I’m going to talk about in this fertility TV episode. I’m going to go in depth into these three things, but you got to watch all the way to the end to get all the information.
The highlights are, number one, what is your body actually saying to you? And number two, how can you communicate back with your body? And number three, it’s all about time. So let’s jump into it now. Okay, so let’s jump into this right now. Before I get into all the details of the three points, first, you might be asking yourself, how can you be more fertile with high FSH? I thought this made you less fertile. And you are absolutely correct, that the number in and of itself does make you less fertile and it’s really not ideal. But I believe that if you take the necessary steps now to find the root cause of why your FSH is high and you take action, that you are going to be more fertile afterwards than you were prior. And so to me, understanding that and recognizing that information actually can make you more fertile, and that is key to getting the progress that you’re looking for.
Number two, I also want you to be grateful for your high FSH. Again, that might make you scratch your head, but I do want you to be grateful for it because knowledge is power and the knowledge about your FSH is going to allow you to make change and be proactive. Without that information, you wouldn’t have done anything differently and you wouldn’t have been proactive to make the necessary changes to improve your health, your hormones, and your fertility so that you can get pregnant. So I think those two pieces are key to getting the results that you want if you have high FSH.
So now into number one, your body is saying something to you. That’s right, it’s talking to you. And I think it’s really important that we begin to listen. When your body’s talking to you, it’s telling you something for a reason. If you have pain, you know that there’s something wrong, let’s just say in your shoulder, and you’re going to be proactive to do something about it. With your fertility you might not know. Your cycles might be regular, you might ovulate on time, but there are other ways that your body will talk to you. And your hormone levels, and in this case your FSH, are one of the ways that your body is talking to you. So this is telling you that it’s time for you to change your lifestyle to improve your FSH numbers.
It’s also telling you that now is time for you to get real information about all your hormones, not just your FSH. So I think it’s important that you find the right person to speak to who can guide you on your fertility journey and tell you what other tests you need to be doing and what those tests mean in the grand scheme of your fertility so that you can start to make the proper changes now.
And all of this really does start with testing and taking inventory of your life. So if you haven’t had all the labs done, and I talk about this many videos, then I want you to start with getting the proper testing done. That’s number one.
And number two, I want you to take inventory of your own life. Many of you can objectively look at your life and say, these areas need to be improved. All of these areas where you think that they may or may not impact your hormones and your FSH, absolutely do. So I want you to go through and evaluate your work life, your home life, your relationships, your sleep, your stress, your exercise, your diet, everything that you can evaluate on your own and objectively prioritize those to determine which ones need the attention and need to be changed now more than anything. So you’re going to prioritize the things that you’ve determined that need to be improved and the things that come up on your hormone and lab tests.
Number two. I want you to communicate back with your body. Now, you guys might be saying it’s one thing for your body to communicate with you because it can talk to you with lab work and pain or whatever else, but how am I going to communicate back with my body? Well, you do this by all the things that you do on a regular basis. This is you after taking inventory of what needs to be changed, making those changes.
So by improving your sleeping regimen and patterns, you’re talking and communicating back with your body saying, I love you and I know this needs to be improved, so I’m going to do it. If you recognize that you need to drink less alcohol or eat better food, you are communicating back with your body when you make those changes. That’s right. If you recognize that after testing your labs that you need certain supplements to improve those numbers, and you begin to take those and nourish your body with what’s missing, then you are communicating back with your body, telling it again that you recognize what it needs and you are going to give it what it needs.
Now, you might need some support to figure all of that out and come up with the right plan, and that’s fine. That’s also communicating with your body saying, I’m going to get someone to help me so that I can give you what it needs. That is how you’re going to communicate back with your body, through love and affection, by doing the things that you need to do to make change in your life and take ownership of how you can improve your fertility.
And then number three, time. What do you mean by that, Mark? Well, what I mean is, you need to give yourself time to make the necessary changes and see the progress that you want to see. You need to be patient with yourself to make the changes. Some of the changes that you’re going to be asked to make or that you’re going to ask yourself to make aren’t easy because you’re not used to them. So you need to have patience and time to make those changes and more importantly, see the results.
The results that you’re looking for don’t happen in a day or a week or often even in a month. They happen over a period of time, often in three months or five months or eight months. So you need to give yourself time to make those changes and then give your body the time to see the results that you want to see.
